Dr. Tammy Faulkner received her veterinary degree from Washington State University in 1990.

  • Dr. Faulkner lives in Viola, ID with her husband and three children aged 17-20.  She has 2 horses, 4 dogs, 3 cats and a chinchilla.  Her cat population changes readily as she fosters cats from the shelter that need special attention and then adopts them out.
  • She works Wednesdays and every other Friday at the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter spaying and neutering adoptable animals and performing low cost surgeries for clients that may not be able to visit a local veterinarian.
  • Once monthly, during the warmer months of the year she travels to outlying areas such as Pomeroy and Kendrick, that do not have a veterinarian in town.
  • Dr. Faulkner developed a low cost spay neuter clinic in Moscow called Spay Neuter Clinic in early 2007.  It is a non-profit operation that performs low cost spays and neuters on Mondays at the Latah County Fairgrounds. (208-301-2790) -  www.stoplittering.org
