Dr. Tammy Faulkner received her veterinary degree from Washington State University in 1990. 

  • Dr. Faulkner lives in Viola with her husband, 3 teenagers, pet steer, 2 horses, 4 dogs, 3 cats and chinchilla.
  • She works one day per week (Wednesday) at the Lewis Clark  Animal Shelter spaying and neutering adoptable animals.
  • Once monthly, during the warmer parts of the year, she travels to outlying areas such as Pomeroy, Deary, Palouse and Kendrick where there is not a local veterinarian.
  • Dr. Faulkner and the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter have developed a Spay/Neuter Program in Moscow called S.N.A.P. (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) which launched in April of 2007 at the Latah County Fairgrounds. .
  • Mobile Pet Vet began in 2001.
